The Macallan 12 year old Triple Cask, a new special edition to celebrate the Chinese New Year and featuring hand-selected oak casks, with 90% of spirit having been aged in Sherry butts and 10% in virgin American ex-bodega bourbon casks. The whisky is then allowed to mature for a further two years in Oloroso sherry casks before being blended together by master blender Bob Dalgarno. The result is smooth and full-bodied whisky with richly textured flavours of cocoa bean and vanilla cream that are balanced by soft notes of toffee and orange peel

A unique and expertly crafted Macallan, this 12 Year Old Triple Cask is a triple matured whisky that has been aged in a combination of Oloroso Sherry, Pedro Ximénez and new American oak casks. This intriguing whisky brings together near-perfect balance, with rich fruit notes on the nose, followed by hints of spicy oak, almond and raisin flavours. The cinnamon warmth at the end completes this truly exceptional whisky.
