Cali by Snoop Dogg

Discounted at Amazon, the Cali by Snoop Dogg (yes, the rapper) red wine received rave reviews from our tester. “It’s full-bodied and rich in flavour – perfect for drinking on its own as an evening tipple. However, it did pair nicely with food – we felt spices and chicken were complemented by this fruity wine,” our reviewer said

Cave de Lugny les pierres blanches chardonnay, case of six: Was £89.94, now £77.94,

This case of six bottles has been reduced by £12 at Majestic. The French chardonnay, from the Cave de Lugny of the Burgundy region, is made by using grapes from 39-year-old vines, and promises an intense flavour and extra fruitiness, thanks to being left unoaked. Tasting notes for this 2020 vintage include citrus, green melon and a touch of honey, with a fresh finish.

Caves d’Esclans whispering angel rosé, case of six: Was £143.94, now £113.94,

Another gem from France, this Provence pink option is a bit of a splurge, but you can save more than £30 when you buy a case of six at Majestic. Sacha Lichine took over the Château d’Esclans in 2006 and introduced ground-breaking techniques. This rosé is a fresh wine with a smooth finish and notes of apple, grapefruit and peach. It is said to pair well with salmon or can be enjoyed on its own.

19 Crimes red wine: Was £9.50, now £7.50, Asda.com

This red wine is a dark vino with flavours of red currents, dark cherries, chocolate and vanilla. Now reduced to a little over £7, you can stock up for less, ready for dinner parties or those cosy winter nights spent on the sofa.

Graci Etna Bianco Muganazzi 2021: Was £43, now £31.50, Bbr.com

This delicious bottle from renowned British-owned wine merchants Berry Bros. & Rudd now comes with a discount just shy of 30 per cent. The wine itself hails from Italy and has notes of soft apple and nectarine with a medium body and dry finish.
